Adobe has signed Memorandums of Understanding with seven state governments : Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Assam, Bihar and Tamil Nadu to bring free AI and digital creativity tools into thousands of government schools across India.
Under the MoUs, Adobe will provide thousands of government schools with free access to Adobe Express for Education, a digital media app designed to engage students with projects that boost learning outcomes and develop future-ready skills.
The programme provides access to Adobe Express for Education and Adobe Digital Academy curriculum covering creative problem-solving, digital storytelling and AI-assisted content creation.

Adobe Digital Academy coursework is also available through Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, YouTube and IBM SkillsBuild. On IBM SkillsBuild, learners can choose between self-paced courses and six-week Guided Learning Experiences that include facilitator support and practical activities.
As part of its partnership with UNICEF's Generation Unlimited (GenU), nearly 400,000 young people in India have accessed creative and AI-enabled digital skills, with more than 375,000 completing Adobe's Design Fundamentals with AI course.
The company also works with NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime to provide free AI-focused courses and industry-relevant certifications.
