LEAP India Q1 profit jumps 30% as margins widen in first post-listing quarter

LEAP India posted net profit of ₹24.7 crore for Q1 FY27, up 30% from ₹19 crore in the same quarter a year earlier, in its first set of results since listing on the Indian bourses in August 2026.

Operating revenue rose 19% year-on-year to ₹203.4 crore, from ₹170.8 crore in Q1 FY26. Including other income of ₹10 crore, total income for the period stood at ₹213.4 crore. Expenses rose 17% year-on-year to ₹180.5 crore, and the company's total tax expense was ₹8.3 crore.

EBITDA margin reached 53.5% for the quarter, above the 50.5% margin reported for full-year FY26, pointing to improving efficiency at the start of the new fiscal year. On a sequential basis, revenue was broadly flat compared with ₹203.5 crore in Q4 FY26, while net profit dipped 8.5% from ₹27 crore in the preceding quarter.

Pallets remained the largest revenue contributor at 60% of the mix, unchanged from the prior year. The company added 48 new customers during the quarter taking its total customer base past 1,000 across more than 38 sectors, served through over 10,500 touchpoints nationwide.

LEAP India, which holds over 90% market share in India's pallet pooling segment, also announced the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where asset-pooling demand is expanding.

Over the five years prior to listing, the company's revenue and net profit grew at a compound annual rate of 33% and 45% respectively, according to available data.
