Executive Centre India opens 1,000-seat coworking centre in Gurugram

Executive Centre India has launched a 1,000-seat coworking facility in Gurugram, adding a significant block of managed workspace capacity to one of the Delhi-NCR region's busiest commercial corridors.

The opening marks a sizeable single-site expansion for the operator, which has been building its India footprint since 2008 as part of the TEC Group. The company already runs multiple centres in Gurugram, including locations at DLF Cyber City, One Horizon Center and Two Horizon Center, all in established Grade A business districts.

Executive Centre India received SEBI approval earlier this year for a ₹2,600-crore IPO, signalling that the company is preparing to access public capital to fund further growth. The Gurugram opening fits that pattern of scaling ahead of a market listing.

The timing also reflects broader momentum in India's flexible office segment. According to Colliers India, co-working operators leased 13 million sq ft of Grade A office space in 2025, with flex space accounting for nearly 18 per cent of total gross office leasing across seven major cities that year.

Gurugram has drawn particular attention from flex operators. WeWork India opened a 1,200-seat centre at Udyog Vihar in February 2026, citing rising corporate demand for managed workspaces. The cluster of large launches in the city reflects both steady occupier appetite and continued landlord willingness to lease to flex providers.

For professionals and teams based in NCR, the addition of a 1,000-seat centre means more options for managed desk arrangements, private offices and short-term corporate space without the capital commitment of a conventional lease.
