The Tea

Chamomile + Tulsi + a touch of Ginger

This combination works because it balances softness withgrounding. Chamomile relaxes. Tulsi steadies. Ginger keeps the body warm andpresent, preventing that hollow, drained feeling some calming teas leavebehind.

You’ll need

  • 1     teaspoon dried chamomile flowers
  • 5–6     fresh tulsi (holy basil) leaves or 1 teaspoon dried tulsi
  • 2–3     thin slices of fresh ginger
  • 1     cup hot water
  • Honey (optional)

How to make it

  1. Bring     water to a gentle boil, then let it rest for a few seconds.
  2. Add     chamomile, tulsi, and ginger to a cup or teapot.
  3. Pour     hot water over the herbs and cover.
  4. Let     it steep for 6–8 minutes.
  5. Strain.     Add honey only if needed.

When to drink it

Late evening works best — after dinner, before screens takeover. It’s also helpful on afternoons when the day feels mentally loud but notphysically tiring.

Why this works

Chamomile helps relax muscle tension and quiet mentalrestlessness. Tulsi supports stress regulation and brings clarity rather thandrowsiness. Ginger improves circulation and digestion, which subtly affects howcalm the body feels.

Together, they don’t knock you out. They bring you back intoyour body.

A small ritual helps

Drink it warm. Sit down while you do. Don’t multitask. Evenfive minutes of stillness paired with this tea makes the effect last longer.

Calm isn’t something you force. Sometimes it just needs theright conditions.

And this cup creates them quietly.
